8 Reasons to Visit Nice, France
As Spring break was approaching, I had to decide where to take my kids to enjoy their time off from school. I first thought about Paris, but I knew it would be packed with people traveling. So, I decided to search YouTube for the best places to visit in Europe, and Nice France was one of the choices. Every video I watched, provided some great information about the location and it was beautiful. From what I saw, I made my decision and Nice, France was our Spring break destination.
The first thing to do was to book my flight reservation through Ryanair, and the cost was under $240 for three round trips. I love it when I don’t have to spend a lot of money on travels, and that was a great deal.
Second, I had to reserve my hotel, and I wanted our hotel to be close to the city center so that my kids and I can walk to many of our destinations. I was able to secure the “Helvetique” through Hotwire, which was located five minutes walking from the city center. I truly enjoyed my time in Nice, and I want to share my top eight reasons why you should visit Nice France.
While in Nice France here are my top eight reasons on why you should visit Nice, France.

Location– The location you choose should be a place where you go to relax and enjoy beautiful sceneries. Nice France provides that opportunity. The beach is surrounded by restaurants, casino, bike rentals and amazing views from one end to the next. Nice was not over crowded even though there were lots of people; there was room for everyone to navigate without bumping into each other. While you are there, you can jump on a train and take a trip to Sanremo Italy.

Market– In the old village, a market available for you six days a week and they have everything that you need. From fresh flowers to surprise your significant other, handmade soaps, fresh fruits, pastries, and handcrafted baskets to name a few.

Food– The food in Nice was tasty and flavorful. I love going to destinations where the food is amazing, and the chefs know what he or she is doing. The city provides a variety of food choices, and there are many restaurants and pastry shops to select from. Even with my son’s allergies, there were plenty of food options for him, and his go-to items were the margarita pizzas, penne pasta, and spaghetti. We ate a lot of pasta, and I get to my seafood fix. The service and quality of food were amazing.

People– The people of Nice were polite and friendly. Asking for direction was easy, it took a little bit of translation from French to English, but everything that needed to be communicated was. My hotel front desk clerks were kind; they provided me with locations to visit and things to do with my kids.
Shopping– If you love to shop big or small, then there are many top brands that you are familiar with like Gucci, Fendi, Tiffany & Co and other brands that will be new to you to choose from. You will not be disappointed, so pack light so that you can bring a few new items back with you.
Monaco– Is an amazing destination to visit while in Nice, France. You can get to Monaco by train, bus, or car. I took the bus which was about a 30-minute drive and the kids, and I was able to see some beautiful views on the way. Monaco is known for its wealth that has been generated back in the early 1900s through the opening of its casino, the Formula 1 Race Track, and the enormous number of famous visitors yearly. The firsts thing I notice about Monaco was how clean the streets were, and the mall was beautiful.

If you plan on spending money at the mall in Monaco, you will need to take a lot of it. I did some window shopping because everything was expensive, but it is a sight to see. I was impressed by the quality, the brand, service, and decor.
Museum– There are lots of museums that you can visit to learn about the history of Nice, France, it will cost you 10 euros, and if you are traveling with children then they will get in for free. The 10 euro you spend will get you into all the museum within 24 hours, or you can pay a little extra to extend your tickets for future days.
Entertainment – There are lots of night clubs to attend, and if I were not pregnant, I would have been in a few because I love to dance. So, if you love to dance, you have many options There are several parks to visit with your children, a trampoline, laser tag within Nice, and you can hop on a 23-minute train ride and visit the Marineland, which is like SeaWorld, and a water park located in Antibes.
Take the time to travel and see the world. Traveling allows us to live freely and make lots of memories. My children and I had a wonderful time in Nice, France and we have lots of pictures to add to our photo albums.
Question: What is one place you recommend for anyone to go and visit?

I haven’t been to Nice France, I’ve always visited Paris, but I’m going to have to make it my business to go there at least once. Maybe next year. After reading your post, you’ve convinced me that I need to go.
