Planning a trip well in advance is great and beneficial but waiting last minute can make it a daunting task.  You end up rushing everything and spending more money than what you had planned.

A trip involves various factors such as: Whether you are traveling alone or with kids?  The budget for the trip and the location.  Also, the weather is another aspect depending on where you decide to go and the number of suites cases (extra cost for airline baggage).   Another important factor is the mode of transportation (Plane, Train, Bus, Car).  I believe the mode you use to get to your destination is extremely important because it determines how soon you and your loved ones get to enjoy family fun times.

With any trip, the goal is to get there in the shortest amount of time to enjoy the location and begin the activities.

Well if you are that person who likes to wait last minute to plan a trip like me at times then Airbnb is the way to go when looking to save money on a room, a house to stay in and activities to do in the area.

I used Airbnb service for the first time while visiting Edinburg, Scotland, United Kingdom and I must say the experience was great.

Cost

The cost is depended on your budget on what you plan on spending.  The amount of money spent will determine the type of accommodation you receive.  Some people just need a bed, while others like myself wants accommodation with comfort, which entails a beautiful room, security, separate bathrooms from the host and an incentive of breakfast or another complementary service.

The cost can range from $35 dollars to over a $1000 per night and the cost is based on the quality of service you desire.  Using Airbnb can save you money where you can use extra savings for activities, shopping, or save it for your next trip.  Staying in a normal hotel will cost you a minimum of $100 dollars, this amount is based on your location and the time of the year you travel.

Location

You can obtain a room or a house anywhere around the world by going to Airbnb.  The type of room you want is determine upon your budget and there are lots of options.  The only limitation of getting the place that you want is the availability of dates.  The availability will vary based on the location, seasons or major holiday, so plan and book early.

Acquiring an Airbnb Room

The navigation process to acquire my first Airbnb service was easy to accomplish.  Even though it was an Easter weekend, I was successful in obtaining a room in Burntisland, Scotland, the United Kingdom for £42 pounds ($59.04 dollars) per night for two adults which included a complimentary breakfast the morning my vacation started.  The host responded quickly to my messages before booking.  Lastly, providing and scanning identification and the payment processes were ease and efficient.

We take trips to make memories with our family and friends and we save money by using Airbnb services.
