Summer is on its way and we all know this means that it’s time to get into shape so that we can show off our swimwear, summer accessories and check out the hot guys and girls.
It’s all about feeling and looking good, but to look good you have to get that body and mind right. You can do this by working out and preparing healthy and tasty foods to eat daily. It’s all about your choices and what results you want to see.
Here are two dishes that you can prepare to get you started on your summer look.
This beautiful and colorful Bean Salad is simple to create for any occasion. With this dish, you get your fiber, carbohydrates, vegetables, and fats in one lump sum. You can choose different beans to create your dish.
Ingredients needed:
4 cans of chickpeas.
2 cans of red beans
Bell peppers (multi colors chopped)
Fresh tomatoes (chopped)
1/4 Cup Red onion (chopped)
2 Tablespoon Basil
2 Tablespoon Oregano
1/2 Cup Olive oil
2 Fresh Lemons Squeezed
Salt
Pepper

Process
Step 1- Open and drain your beans then add to a bowl.
Step 2- Mixed herbs and olive oil together and set aside.
Step 3- Cut up all the vegetables.
Step 4- Grab a big bowl and combined all the ingredients and pour the olive oil mixture on top. Then pour the lemon juice on top and all you have to do is stir everything together.
Step 5- Served it up at any events with a lovely glass of wine or your favorite drink. Wine is always my choice!
Another simple and yummy dish you can make in no time is this gorgeous and delicious Quinoa Mediterranean Salad.
Ingredients needed:
2 Packs of Pre-cooked Quinoa
1/4 Cup Purple Cabbage
1/4 Cup Purple Onions
1 Can Chichpeas
1 Can Red Beans
Bell peppers (multi colors chopped)
Fresh spinach
Mediterranean Sea Salt with herbs
1 tablespoon Basil
1 tablespoon Oregano
1/2 Cup Olive oil
2 Fresh Lemons Squeezed
Sea Salt
Pepper
Process
Step 1-Pour the packs of quinoa into a bowl and drain the beans and add to the bowl.
Step 2- Mixed herbs and olive oil together and set aside.
Step 3- Cut up all the vegetables.
Step- Mix all the ingredients together.
Step 4- Add the herb mixture and pour the lemon juice on top and mix everything together.
